On September 11, the Fire Fighter Foundation of Houston will hold its annual appreciation dinner to honor the members of the Houston Fire Department. This year the Foundation will be recognizing fire and EMS units which demonstrated unusual valor during the year with the "Answering the Call" Awards. You will not want to miss this very special evening.
Our fire fighters and EMS responders are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to answer the call from each of us in a time of crisis. This dinner is our opportunity to show our appreciation for their service. The proceeds from the dinner are used to purchase sorely needed equipment and to support functions of the Department that are not covered by the City budget.
