Thanks for Participating in the Lyondell Bike Around the Bay

Posted 10/29/2007 by Bill King

Dear LBOB Riders,

I would like to thank all of you for participating in the first, but certainly not the last Lyondell Bike Around the Bay. It was an incredible kick-off for this event. I hope you will mark your calendars now for October 18th & 19 for next year's ride.

Many of you have been providing us feedback on how we can improve the ride next year which is greatly appreciated. We are formulating a survey that will be e-mailed to all of you asking about various aspects of the ride and your opinion about potential changes for next year. Your input will help us make this an even better ride.

Based on the feedback we have been getting, we expect that we will be limiting the number of riders next year. We will send an advance notice to this year's riders when on-line registration is available before announcing it publicly so that those of you that supported the ride from the beginning will be able to continue to participate.

Some photos that were taken during the ride and a link to the photographer taking photos at the Palm Beach Party are on our website www.bikearoundthebay.org.

I would also like to remind you that you are all now members of the Galveston Bay Foundation. I hope that you will become more familiar with GBF and find other ways to participate with their organization. I believe you will begin recieving the Foundation's newletter soon and you can learn more about GBF at http://www.galvbay.org/index.cfm.

Thanks again and see you all next year.
